After Nana passed away in June, I decided that I wanted to post a few (more than a few) of my favorite pictures on the blog of her life.
As I mentioned in this post their farm house burned in 1968 and they lost all their family
heirlooms including any pictures she had.
In the second Ina Pearl post I included the 80s and 90s through her dear husband's life.
After she was widowed, Nana continued to live her life to the fullest.
She continued to live alone at her home in Honey Grove.
This is us in Christmas 2003 (I think)
She was able to travel more freely and attended James's ring day in college station in 2004.

In the fall of 2005, Leslie started attending Kansas State University and Nana went with my parents to a football game. She was such a trooper and loved to go and see anything she could.
In 2007 James graduated and, again, I just know Nana was so proud.
Christmas 2007
On February 28, 2008, Nana's first great grand-baby was born in Kansas.
Noah Jackson Luttrell
He stole everyone's' heart.
Leslie and Noah drove to Texas from Kansas when he was just a week old.
We went to Jackie's house in McKinney where Nana was visiting.
Nana holding chubby Noah.
Getting every last drop while he falls asleep.

Christmas 2008
October 10, 2009, Jenny and Doug got married in Austin, Texas.
A big family picture.
This pink suit that they bought for Jenny's wedding was what she was buried in.
In September 2011, Nana's next great-grandchildren were born:
Bryce Louis Beman. and
Brayden Jack Beman (after Nana's husband)
In September 2011, Russell and Marie were married.
In 2012, Noah graduated from Pre-K and was so proud to have his Nana attend.
I have quite a few pictures of Nana from my wedding that I love - so I'm sharing them all.

Nana had moved in with Jackie and Tom, and we loved having
her closer and getting to visit her more often.
Nana made it to Noah's Kindergarten Thanksgiving program.

In March 2014, we celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday.

Later that month, Leslie and Noah welcomed Zay into their home and Noah
had her FIFTH great-grandchild.
Nana loved living with Jackie and being close to her great grand-children.
Especially sweet Addy.

In September 2014, Jackie's family took family pictures
I know they are so thankful to have these. :)

At my baby shower, we got a picture of me with Connor's two great-grandmothers.
Granny and Nana
My sweet friend took this picture of Nana with her good camera.
I just love it. :)
Right after Connor was born, Nana got pretty sick and had to go to the hospital.
We decided to take Connor up there to meet his Great-Grandmother. :)
I know Nana is not looking, but she is so happy to be wrangling this group. :)
For Nana's 95th birthday, Jackie organized a dinner at Saltgrass Steakhouse and then we went back to Jenny's where everyone brought one of Nana's famous desserts.
It was awesome!
I was in charge of getting her blue boutonniere.
Such a pretty lady.
At Jenny's we took a couple Four Generation pictures.
And Leslie's turn.
A picture of Nana receiving kisses from her two kids.
Don't you love James explain what to do in the mirror?

Nana and her SEVEN great-grandchildren.

We visited Nana and Jackie in January.

In 2009, Nana was super proud because her last grandchild had graduated from college.
She made the trip to Manhattan, Kansas to celebrate.
Noah (and Leslie) got these princess balloons for Nana's birthday.
I just love seeing how happy Nana was to watch Noah play. :)

On August 30, 2010, Nana turned 90 years old.
We all gathered in Forth Worth and my Aunt Jackie made this amazing slide show of her life
(where I got a lot of these pictures) and one slide showed Nana - always smiling.
So pretty and happy.
This was mentioned a few times at her funeral and I loved hearing it because it was so true.
She just made the best out of every situation and welcomed everyone with a warm smile.

August 30, 2014, Nana turned 94 years old!
We were finding out the gender of our first baby and so we decided to have one party to celebrate.
This is Nana's reaction when the kids busted open the piñata full of blue candy.
We had gotten a cake for Nana's birthday, but I accidentally dropped it on the floor.
Whooops.
We settled for an oatmeal cream pie with her 94 candles in it. :(
I just love this picture of Bryce and Brayden taking pictures of Nana while we sang to her.
Cecil, Nana, and me outside our house as she was leaving the party. :)
In September 2014, Jackie's family took family pictures

She loved on Connor and kept telling me how 'cute she was' :)
At Easter 2015, Nana's group had really grown. Jenny made the kids all cute matching clothes.
