My birthday - 2016

Ya'll!
My birthday fell on a Monday this year (womp womp) but that acutally means
we just stretched it way out and celebrated over two weekends. (win!)

The week before my birthday I got these beautiful flowers from Cecil delivered to my work?
Why a week before? I do not know. I didn't ask questions. I just enjoyed them. :)

The weekend before my birthday Cecil's Mom and sister took me out to get a pedicure
and surprised me with lunch at Pappasitos where Connor and Cecil met us.
We ate on the patio and had beautiful weather.
It was the perfect girls day and I really appreciate all they did to make me feel special!

Monday was my birthday and I asked his teacher to take a picture of us during drop off.
Please excuse Connor's eye - we were treating it with eyedrops.

Monday evening we went to dinner with my sister and nephews.
I had far far too many sweets.
We went to BJs and the sweet waitress bought me two mini pizookies
because I was having trouble choosing between the Salted Caramel and Monkey Bread.

AND Leslie also brought a Cookie cake....
Connor snacked on it while we waited for our food.
Luckily I was able to send most of it home with Noah

Leslie gave me a bag full of my favorite childhood snack (banana runts)
as my birthday present. I pretty much overdid it on them the next day at
work and ended up throwing them away.

Connor and I took 76 photos at dinner and weren't able to get any great ones.

On Tuesday we celebrated my birthday at work with a Nothing Bundt Cake.
Don't worry I didn't get a picture of anyone, but I did of the cake!
#priorities

My parents anniversary is three days after my birthday so we
met up between the two days for dinner in Frisco.
We wanted to sit outside since it was gorgeous so we were sat at two tables next to each other

Noah is a ham
Russell hates pictures
LOL

And a big group picture after dinner. We were missing Marie and Turner
because they were visiting family in Florida for the week.

After dinner the boys played outside the restaurant while the girls finished talking
(and eating ALL the cheesecake)
PS - the only way Connor will go to my Dad is if he is total fear for his life.

If those weren't enough celebrations, we had a party with friends on Saturday.
When we went outside Saturday morning I was thinking there was no way anyone was getting in any pool - it was chilly! But kids can be determined.

Look at these sweet girls.

This is Connor telling anyone that will pay attention that there is a problem:
a ball is in his sight, but out of his reach

Hudson ran into Cecil with the Cozy Coup and Cecil pretended to fall down.
Connor actually got really upset. Sweet boy.
Connor got a little hot and started sporting some rosy cheeks.
He had to take a little break to cool off with his Aunt T.

The big kids (minus Austin) played in the swimming pool for a LONG time!

None of the adults were swimming, but Cecil tried to get Connor to go in the water on the ledge.
Apparently he wasn't having it and came back to sit with me (and steal my drink) in the shade.
Kaylee was appalled - she would never steal her Mama's drink!

Austin was super sweet with all the young kids. Hudson and him had an especially good time.
I love that nephew of ours!

The kiddos took full advantage of the trampoline!

And Kaylee jumped at her own pace. She is seriously a jumping machine!

We had Fuzzy's for dinner; it was soo good! And there was a ton of food!!
Then, they brought out the cake
(my SECOND Red Velvet Nothing Bundt Cake of the week)

Cecil caught a frog and SERIOUSLY terrified Zay with it.
Then Zay SERIOUSLY terrified Kaylee with his high pitched scream. Poor girl.

Around 10 Cecil was finally able to get Connor to sleep for a little while.
We ended up leaving their house around 11.
Connor was really well behaved. I had family and friends around to celebrate.
It really was the best day!!!!!
I would spend every Saturday with these people if I could.

I can already tell 32 is going to be a good year! :)
