Home Town Shower

On November 15th 2014, these lovely ladies gave me a wonderful baby shower at my Mom's house in Van Alstyne. They really made it special for me. I'm forever grateful for each of them. :)

Laura put together this beautiful diaper cake! I'm not even sure how she made it so pretty! I waited forever to break it down and actually use the diapers.

I think Michelle did most of the décor and every single piece was so thoughtful! She included the 'old world charm' look that I was thinking for the nursery. She even included succulents as they had been the favor from our wedding. :) She is just the sweetest. Swoon!

Leslie created the cutest donut cake with a naked baby on top! lol
Fun fact: Cecil and I decided on Connor's name just a day or two before the shower (and we weren't even sure on the spelling yet) so the chalkboard globe was the only place they were able to write it. Everything else was H for Baby Hodges #ooops
Naming a baby boy is tough!

Carlyn came and took some really beautiful pictures for me before she had to head out to a family event. Her driving all the way to Van Alstyne and back was super sweet.

Laura also made the cutest party favors with the yummiest white chocolate sprinkle popcorn inside. They were a hit!!

I loved seeing all my guest, but I will have to say Addie, Aster, and Jack were probably the most popular. ;)

Isn't my Nana beautiful. I just love this picture.

Aster doesn't look happy here, but she was such a trooper. She was happy the entire day!! Sara said 'I've heard about babies like this before.' hahhah Harrison was sick and had to stay home and unfortunately I guess he had been quite fussy.

Michelle gave me my favorite gift!! A homemade quilt for Connor. I don't deserve her kindness!!! Amali might have been so excited that she spoiled the surprise. haha

Isn't it amazing!?!?

I think this shower might have worn my sister out! But I really appreciate all she did!!

I think its neat that both Cecil and I have our Father's Mother's still with us. Here I am with Connor's two great-grandmother's, Granny (75) and Nana (94).

My wonderful hostesses!

Connor's grandmothers - Nana and Grams

Auntie and Aunt "T"

Luttrell Aunties

This was the first time we got to meet sweet Jack. I've loved having Hailey go through motherhood just 3 months before me. She's my go-to for Mom advice. :) so convenient - seriously!

Gram's present for Connor. It's only appropriate as Halloween is her favorite holiday! :)

Celebrating with our family and friends definitely made everything seem more real and helped us get ready for Connor. Cecil and Noah were on a cub scout camp-out and unable to attend. I'm so thankful for this special day in my life and everyone that shared it with me.
