Russell Christmas 2015

After Christmas morning we went to my cousin's house to celebrate with my Mom's side of the family.  When we first got there Jack (my cousin's son) was sleeping. When it was time we went upstairs to wake him up/dress him/snoop in on the ADORABLE nursery.

Connor got put in bed with Jack and I just love seeing these boys together. They are 3.5 months apart and I know they will be great buddies.

First things first we gathered all the kids and took a picture of them on the stairs together.

This is the one Hailey sent from her good camera. Zay definitely wins #mostphotogenic

Connor wore a sweater that was my brother's when he was a baby.

We all hung out, snacked, and chatted before lunch.
I took this picture to show my Aunt Jackie how popular her pinwheel recipe was. Very. Popular.

Grams played with her two favorite babies.

Then we heard a bunch of noise and realized Zay had fell in the pool. I don't think anyone was very surprised. Luckily, Leslie had some other clothes for him to wear. Apparently they were playing on that back wall and Noah told him to walk around him and then he fell in. Unfortunately he ruined his new watch that he had gotten for Christmas.

He was really starting to panic. I felt sad for him, but not sad enough to not take pictures.

Daddy and his boy

We all did a gift exchange and Connor decided he wanted the stuffed ginger bread man Jack had. It was hilarious. They were in the center of the circle and the Dads were cheering them on. Jack's dad said 'Hurry Jack, he can't walk yet!'

And....Defeat! hahaha
This might have been my favorite part of the day.

After the gift exchange we opened kids presents and everyone was so very sweet and generous to Connor. We got lots of new books!

After presents Connor discovered the stairs and he was in love. He looooves being chased and climbing so this was his heaven! Cecil was a good sport and tagged along with him.

Then we found out Connor is sane and loves chocolate pie. Parents of the year.

We headed home later that day and Connor napped the whole way. It was a fun Christmas with lots of people that we love.
