Christmas Morning 2015

Disclaimer: Please bare with me. I am aware there are far too many pictures of basically the same thing, but I just couldn't help myself.

Connor can be fussy and clingy in the morning. I think he is just tired and mainly hungry so we decided we would bring him to our room first to let him wake up and then let him explore the Santa presents.

Christmas Eve Cecil and set up the Santa presents and took a million few pictures.

Cecil opened the door of the truck so that it looked more inviting. haha :) Sweet Daddy
He was so so excited to see what Connor would do when he saw the truck.

These are the Santa gifts that I chose and got ready. Leslie started a tradition where the boys each get three gifts (because Jesus got three) and I think it's a really great idea. I think we will be following this tradition as well.

First we were going to give him 1) truck 2) chair 3) little truck
But then Noah and Zay saw the truck in the garage so we said that was from us (even though they ended up not even being with us Christmas morning) and the books were the third Santa present.

I wasn't the only crazy one taking pictures....Cecil was too! He even sent his family one showing them Connor's goodies and letting them know how excited he was.
.

OKAY ON TO CHRISTMAS MORNING

I carried Connor into the living room while Cecil video recorded and he fussed a little when I set him on the floor. I sat down beside him and he slowly made his way to the truck. At first he just opened and closed the door.

 *look at that diaper booty*

Then Cecil tried to show him how to get inside.

Then he told us 'Yay presents!!'

And then smiled

Cecil showed him he could get in and he crawled right up and was a happy happy baby.

Cecil took him on a little stroll (and I adored his little fingers gripping the side)

Christmas morning magic

After we took him out of the truck Cecil showed him the chair. He immediately stood up in it and used it to pull higher ornaments off the tree. Smart boy.

He chewed on the ornament while I dumped out his stocking.

Then he moved onto his on to his new drum and "small" truck.

Cecil went to grab my stocking and sneakily said "Feels kind of heavy"
Then he grabbed his and said "feels kind of not heavy."
oops

Cecil had gotten me a yummy Toblerone bar. We agreed no present this year and I honestly didn't miss it at all.

I busted out the chocolate orange and remember myself saying "tastes like Christmas morning"

Then I went to take a nap in the bed and Connor and Cecil fell asleep on the couch. haha
