HodgePodgeBlog: First Day of School

Noah and Zay started their 2015-2016 school year today. I am so excited for them. They are going to have a great year.

Noah switches classes this year. He has Math and Science with Mrs. Tyson and English and Language Arts with Mrs. Bradford. Leslie isn't too excited about it, but I think it will be great for him. He just loves loves school. He hates the last day of school and loves the first day. This morning he kept saying 'Next Up! Third Grade!!' hahahha He was so eager to go back.

Zay is going to be in Kindergarten and he has Mrs. Uribe this year. She was Noah's Kindergarten Teacher and I think she is going to be a great fit for him. She is awesome. On Meet the Teacher night, she had a scavenger hunt set up. They selected their lockers and he chose the one right under Mrs. Uribe's. I will say Zay seemed a little nervous, but excited too.

A mama and her boys. Today was Leslie's first day to be a counselor. So very proud of her too!!

I was there too. Leslie had to go to school early, so I came by and brought the chalk board, we took pictures, then Leslie had to run to get to her school.

I parked and walked the kids up to the front of the school. The gym was open to drop off kids or you had to wait in line, sign in, and then walk the kids to their class at 7:45. Ain't nobody got time for that! So we dropped off in the gym. Noah could not give me a kiss and say bye fast enough. His coach was trying to tell him Hi and he wasn't even paying attention because he wanted to GET IN THE SCHOOL. Zay just followed Noah's lead. On my way back to the car, I realized I was carrying Noah's backpack so they let me take it to him in the gym. Where I got this picture and Then helped Zay find the Kindergarten line.
