So I mentioned it in the September post, but Connor's first word is DUCK- particularly this duck. He LOOOOOOVES it.
Nana (Cecil's Mom) sent this duck to the hospital the day Connor was born saying she was sorry she couldn't be there. (All day I thought it was from my Nana-pronounced Nonna but spelt the same).
Well we cleaned it out and sanitized it in the dishwasher and I've kept it in his room on the dresser next to the glider. I put nail clippers, teething tablets, lotion, travel shampoo (don't know why??) in there and I thought it looked great in his room.
These couple pictures are from October 11th (9 months old) when I first pulled it down to the floor and let him play with it. He was saying "duh" but he was saying du and da a lot throughout the day. I took these pictures to send Nana to show her how much he loved the duck. There he is grabbing and banging that travel shampoo.
That Sunday Nana came over after church and I brought the duck into the living room to show her how much he loved it. He kept saying "duh" and Nana and I decided he was really saying Duck!!
Sometimes when I'm nursing he will pull off, sit up, look at the duck and say 'Duh.' He loves to pull things out of the back and play with them. He likes to pull his hat off and try to put it back.
I think it's super cute and sweet that he loves this duck of his.

we have the same duck and Everly is obsessed with it!
