We left off last week in Mexico with Ben
pulling Olivia aside after hearing a few of the girls complain about her. He
expresses his concern and I swear her eyes triple in size to the biggest puppy
dog eyes you’ve ever seen. She says she isn’t surprised to hear the other girls
say they don’t like her. She is more intellectual and likes to talk about smart
things – not do hair and makeup like the other girls. He lets her keep her rose
and then they go back and do the rose ceremony.
Olivia
doesn’t help her public opinion by stating the following in her interviews:
"Everybody else can suck it"
"Bring it on"
"Come at me bro"

Ben sends Jennifer home. Next, Ben
and his NINE girlfriends head to…..THE BAHAMAS!! And it looks like Harrison
made time to come to the Bahamas with them!
DATE ONE: Lets see if our love is REEL - Caila
Ben
shows up and I’m a little embarrassed for him! OMG Ben! Button your shirt!!
Question:
Why did Caila have to take off her clothes to go fishing?
Fact:
Caila has the best hair EVER!
They
actually catch a fish and Ben says, "Want to kiss it?" Caila plays along, but
you can tell inside she is like "not at all."
Now,
this entire conversation is hard to follow but I’m going to really focus and try. Caila feels
like she loves Ben, but also like she cannot love anyone and if her biggest
fear is not being able to love anyone and his biggest fear is not being able to
be loved they could be a terrible match. But none the less she is ready to move
forward.
Wait.
What is her strategy here? Is she trying to play hard to get? Im confused and I
think Ben is too.
Back
at the hotel Leah is breaking down! She says that they could have met at a bar
in Denver, but instead the universe brought them together this way.
Leah
– That is very romantic, but I don’t think it was the universe bringing you together.
It was actually just casting directors that thought you might make good drama.
Leah
is saying she doesn’t want to stick around just to go on a two-on-one date and
be humiliated. She is having a really tough time because she didn't get the one-on-one.
The date
card arrives and everyone except Olivia and Emily are on the card. That
means they are on the two on one date. Uh oh! I’m not thinking this is
great for the Emily the twin.
Oh goodness! Now, Leah is breaking down again. Now she is upset that she is on the group
date and not the two-on-one. First she didn’t want the two-on-one and was
saying she should just go home. Now she is complaining that she didn’t get the
two on one. Girl – just go home.
She
reminds me of something I heard on Intervention (greatest show on earth)
one time. Queen Baby. She is trying to be a baby (maybe some say victim) and if
that doesn’t work she wants to be the Queen. If that doesn’t work she is a baby
again. Exhausting.
Leah
decides she is going to go on the date. Well of course you are because it’s a free
vacation and its on national TV which is really why you signed up for the show
in the first place.

GROUP DATE: Love is Unpredicitible - Becca, JoJo, Leah, Lauren B, Lauren H
Whoa! Every single girl on this date has on jorts.
They
are on their way to an island, Becca thinks maybe they are swimming with
sharks. Nope! They are swimming with PIGS! Hahhahahha This is great. I laughed
out loud watching the girls feed and run from the pigs. I love that Lauren H
just does her interview while holding a baby pig.
I
am scared to swim with dogs because they can unintentionally scratch you and I think the pigs might do the same. JoJo
is basically attacked by the pigs and she says it is like a bar in Dallas – Pigs
everywhere. Hahaha She might be my new favorite.
Ben
takes Lauren B alone and talks to her. She refers to him as ‘Little Ben.’ I can’t
imagine that is a good thing. Lauren has THE PERFECT body, but that swimsuit
looks strange from the back.
All of a sudden THIS
DATE GETS AWKWARD. Its like the girls are avoiding Ben. Are they punishing him
for making them swim with pigs? Keeping Olivia? What?
Leah
cries to Ben about not getting a one on one (baby) and he genuinely ask her to
make the best of the group date. Then she runs to Lauren H and cries that he is
an idiot for not liking her (queen).
Again - Go home Leah
They
go to their evening portion of the date and it looks like Ben is wearing a
khaki version of Dexter’s kill outfit. Ben addresses the awkwardness.
During
Price Farming’s season I remember thinking Becca was funny, but I haven’t seen
it this season. Can we get more of the girl’s personalities please?
He
talks to Becca and asks how she is doing. She says that it is hard to see his
obvious connection with Lauren B and I think he appreciates her honestly. They
kiss and make up.
Next,
he brings Amanda to the makeup couch and he confirms that he is really into
her.
Oh
no it is Queen Baby’s turn on the make-out couch. And you can just tell she is going to self-destruct.
All she wants to do is talk about Lauren B. Does anyone else have a problem
with Lauren B? This is not good for Leah. To me - it looks like Leah didn’t
really specifically say her name. Possibly that part was voiced over.
Ben
immediately tells Lauren B that someone says she is different when he is not
around. She is understandably upset and in her interview it looks like her
eyelashes are falling off. Can someone help our flight attendant??
Leah looks crazy and like she is
just grabbing at straws.
Girl – go home. With dignity.
Ben
ends up giving the group date rose to Amanda. I cannot imagine how drained he
is.

Back
in the hotel room, Lauren B, Amanda, and Emily are talking and Amanda is smart behind all those likes!
She sees exactly what is going on and calls Leah out for it. Smart girl! I
loved seeing the girls snuggled up solving the mystery together. I thought that
was a cute scene. It made me like all three of them more.
Leah
decides she needs to go talk to Ben. He looks like he just wants to spend a
little time alone. Can you imagine how emotionally draining these days must be
for him? I bet he is thinking…. Go Home Leah!
Ben
is sweet and invites her in and pours a glass of wine. I’m really impressed
with how sweet he is to her. He seemed genuinely excited to see her. She immediately
just starts bashing Lauren B again. Where is this coming from? Ben
shocks her and tells her…..to go home! Just kidding, but he does tell her that
he doesn’t see their relationship progressing and that they need to say
good-bye.
Leah
says she never would have gone in there if she knew he was going to send her
home. Well, duh! Her plan backfired! Leah says that Ben is so confusing and
that he is a fool for letting her go. Bye Queen Baby!
Bashing Lauren was Leah's second biggest mistake this season.
TWO ON ONE: Lets see what the Bahamas have in store for us - Emily & Olivia
After
the previous night my advice to Emily would be to not spend her time bashing Olivia!
Wait,
sidenote - Olivia is only 23?!? I am a little surprised that Emily and Olivia are the same age.
Olvia is rocking a one piece and…… jean shorts
Olivia says she is going to treat the date like
a one on one. That is why she is disliked. She is so dismissive of everyone
else. Olivia says he validates her more than anyone. Did she forget she hasn’t had a one on one and Caila has had TWO!?! Olivia says she is happy to get time….uninterrupted. Wait? It’s a two on one.
She shows us how excited she is with this face.....
Emily
looks cute in her fringe top and…….jean shorts.
The
two girls could not sit further apart in the van.
It looks WINDY!!! RAINY AND WINDY! Do not
sign me up for that boat ride. This date looks miserable.
They go to a small island and I respect Olivia for throwing in the towel and putting her hair up in a top knot! I think both girls have on really cute necklaces.
Olivia
tells Ben that she loves who she is. She is an introvert, grounded, in tune
with her body, strong, and confident. Oh and deep intellectual things are her
jam. And she is in love with Ben!
Oh no! I’m thinking she got the rose by
saying that.
I’m thinking don’t worry Emily. We will see you in Paradise!
He
talks to Emily and it looks miserable. She looks cute, but I bet they all just want
to be warm and dry inside somewhere.
Ben
grabs the rose and asks to speak to Olivia. They both think she is getting the
rose…..but……he breaks up with her. We are all screaming Go Ben!
I kind of live for two on ones.
This is where the whole thing becomes A SCENE!
Ben turns and goes to give Emily the rose. He just leaves Olivia freezing by the rocks in the rain.
Can Ben please walk Olivia out?
Now
I feel bad for Olivia. They leave on a boat and she stays on the island with
her self-proclaimed cankles stuck in the sand. C’mon!! How does she get back
home!
OMG! What????? This scene is so sad and pathetic it makes me laugh out loud from the
awkwardness.
Olivia
says that he said bye to a wonderful person.
I have to admit Olivia gave us a lot in the past few weeks

JoJo
is ready to tell Ben she is falling in love. But Harrison says there will be no
cocktail party. They are all kind of freaking out. JoJo is crying and says she
loved ‘the person’ she was with last.
Why does she not use gender specific
pronouns?!?!

When
it was down to the Laurens in the rose ceremony I was afraid he was going to
say Lauren…. And then it was going TO BE CONTINUED. I appreciate them wrapping
it up for us this week.
Lauren
H says she would have been great for him She doesn't understand what he wants.
Man!
All these girls have a lot of confidence!
I liked Lauren H, but sometimes it just isn't there. Poor girl.
I love the clips they show at the end of the episode! I think they are the best
part of the show! A bat comes in and JoJo is trying to catch it? Push it
outside? But wait! It’s a butterfly!!! Hahaha
I wish we had more of these light hearted funny moments.
